PARS is fully interfaced with Capita's SIMS system, all registration details are written directly back to the SIMS database where they are immediately available to any SIMS users on the system and for SIMS reporting. PARS uses only proprietary hardware meaning existing computers and networks can be used. Registration details can be taken live on PC’s, laptops or PDA’s and, where necessary, data can be downloaded to PDA’s allowing offline registration to be completed where network access is not available such as playing fields, gyms, and temporary classrooms, or even off site. Data is automatically transferred back to PARS whenever a live connection is made to the network. PARS is very easy to use - data is captured once, as it happens in the classroom thus reducing administration and teacher time. The extensive reporting routines meet the whole range of needs for school information.
