webALUMNUS is like a private, supportive "Friends Reunited" for a school that both the school and the former pupils can benefit from. webALUMNUS sites are currently in use at many maintained and independent sector schools in the UK, and also by growing numbers of international schools around the world.
Through a web-enabled network with the school at its heart, webALUMNUS combines friendraising capability with powerful tools for alumni-, event-, fundraising-, contact-, and communications-management, all fully integrated with SIMS.
How could webALUMNUS benefit the school?
- How many former students and parents would be happy to offer career guidance and work experience to your current pupils? If they offered, would you enlist their help as role models, using their experience and knowledge to give practical advice to young students?
- How many former students and parents still live close to the school? If you could outreach to build their continued support, could it help the school to raise additional funds? Would it enhance the reputation and kudos of the school in the eyes of the local population?
