Capita forms partnership with The Examination Officers’ Association

The Examination Officers’ Association (EOA) and Capita have formed a partnership to help target relevant ICT training and support (related to Capita products) for all exams office personnel dealing with the existing examination systems and to further develop new programs that will meet future needs. Capita through its SIMS range of software products has a major influence on the delivery of exams systems in centres and the EOA believe that it is important to work closely with the organisation, in a more proactive way, to help mould our future ICT systems.

This partnership includes:

• Providing website links from both organisations sites to encourage exams office personnel to access more targeted help and support on Capita’s exam office products.
• Co-writing additional ICT resources for the EOA online BTEC courses and workshops that will more closely link exams office qualifications with related ICT issues.
• Capita, alongside all the awarding bodies, will host EOA workshops as part of their contribution in support of exams office professional development.
• Capita will be providing a hands-on clinic for members at our two conferences in July as part of their sponsorship for these events.

The EOA is working closely with Capita to provide greater user input into the development of existing and future systems, including providing additional consultancy on courses through our Advisory Committee groups (if you are interested in getting involved please contact the EOA office for further information).
