    Using One Governors, a complete record of appointed school governors is available. If a new governor is appointed who is a parent or a member of school staff then relevant existing details can be automatically drawn from within One. The system enables individuals to serve on multiple governing bodies, which can be linked to one or more schools, saving time for authority staff and reducing the need to re-enter data.

    Supporting the role of the clerk to the governing body

    Governors Online enables clerks to upload a variety of documentation online to update the governors’ handbook which can then be accessed via any PC with an internet link. The need to print paper copies is reduced and governors always have online access to the most up-to-date information regarding their role. This saves time for authority staff by reducing the need for clerks to contact authorities directly. Task timelines within the system help ensure the timely distribution of meeting agendas and minutes.
