Scheduled training courses
Professional Services provides an extensive range of training courses for all the SIMS Applications designed to enhance and support the use of SIMS.
These courses are run throughout the academic year in our customised training suites in Milton Keynes and Wakefield. From new user courses to familiarise new staff with the workings of SIMS to more specific courses covering timetabling, end of year reporting, managing assessments and administering individual education plans.
All of our trainers are experts at delivering courses relevant to your school or situation, many of them being former teachers or school support staff themselves. Pupil data is used to allow delegates to practice what they learn throughout the day. This 'hands on' approach to training ensures that delegates return to school ready to use SIMS more effectively.
Courses are also available at a number of Capita Regional Centres. These courses may differ slightly from those offered by Professional Services as they may include material designed to cater for local requirements in the area where they are located.
