    14-19 Solutions

Partnership XchangeSIMS Partnership Xchange allows schools to share key data on students who are attending multiple institutions to study.

    Helping you manage learning partnerships
With the changes to the way schools operate, especially in the 14-19 sector, we are seeing more and more schools collaborating to
share specialist teaching resources through federations and other partnerships. The dilemma is how to remain on top of a student’s attendance, achievement and standard student record information when they are attending more than one institution for their learning.

SIMS Partnership Xchange enables you to automatically share key student data with the other schools that are contributing to their learning. This allows teachers and pastoral staff to have a holistic view of the children they teach and also ensures you can provide parents with a single, comprehensive report on their child.

    Up-to-date, accurate records
Schools can share core student data such as name, contact address and details of any special educational needs. Any changes to a child’s record need only be made once and will be reflected in all the institutions where a student is engaged in learning. This reduces the administrative burden of maintaining student data across multiple schools and improves reporting.

A comprehensive view of a child’s achievement, conduct and lesson attendance
Information can be shared on courses taken, results achieved, behaviour and attendance. A student’s base school can know within an hour if a child turned up as expected to a lesson off-site. This is extremely important for the under 16s group where a school has a legally binding, loco parentis duty of care during school hours. All teachers that teach the child can view achievements or see if the child is on report for behavioural issues, for example, which is key to ensuring continuity of care across institutions.

    Security you can rely on

SIMS Partnership Xchange will only share data that other schools have a legitimate right to see, automatically fulfilling your data protection and privacy requirements.
