Professional development
The success of any major ICT-based project can only be as good as the implementation and sustainability planning.
Capita provides a comprehensive implementation package comprising technical, educational, consultancy, training and support to assist schools initiate successful projects. On-going training, consultancy and support services are also offered.

A typical programme for a single school implementation:

Day 1: Planning with the school's SMT and/or Project Coordinator(s) to assist the school in defining short and longer-term training and usage objectives and milestones. The day also includes technical service to initially upload SIMS data and to verify completeness of data set in the VLE. Training enables the MIS administrator(s) to undertake further uploads. Upload of a range of the school's digital content can also be undertaken for training purposes.
Days 2 & 3: Professional Development – teacher eLearning, software and application training.
Day 4: Advanced and/or refresher software and application training.

Note: Implementation services can be customised to meet specific school requirements.
Professional Development sessions are for up to 10 teachers. Capita can customise implementation services for larger projects to accommodate subject-group collaborative training or to provide a greater range of days to implement across a whole school immediately (rather than through cascading).
